B.K. Marcus is an amateur political economist with no formal education in the subject. He works from Charlottesville, Virginia, as an editorial consultant for the Ludwig von Mises Institute. He is no longer a house husband, nor a faculty spouse, but he is still a dilettante, and a layabout, at least in spirit.

And finally, what the heck, if you fight the enemy, you might win! Think of the brave fighters against Communism in Poland and the Soviet Union who never gave up, who fought on against seemingly impossible odds, and then, bingo, one day Communism collapsed. Certainly the chances of winning are a lot greater if you put up a fight than if you simply give up.

We shall not give up the fight for the word "liberal". We shall fight them on the campuses, we shall fight them in DC, we shall fight them with... t-shirts?
